Saint John Bosco became a priest because he loved helping the youth. He first started helping and orphan and preparing him for receiving Holy Communion. He served as a chaplin for hospice for working girls. Then started the Oratory of St. Francis de Sales for boys. He eventually founded the Salesians in 1859 pre Pope Pius’ suggestions. And later organized a group of Salesian sisters. He was known for his education style that removed corporal punishment and educated the whole person - mind, body and soul.
The picture above is a banner that hangs in my dining room. I knew the quote was from Saint Bosco but I didn't know anything about him. I just liked the quote!
Saint John Bosco’s Diffuser Recipe:
4 drops of Lavender
3 drops of Cedarwood
2 drops of Vetiver
These three oils are calming to those students who have trouble focusing.
